Born an Artist: John Abraham (Documentary) This documentary was inspired by the series ''Following Heart'' by Jackgap, I took out the challenge to create a documentary focuses on one artist to tell their story, after searching and contacting for a artist I finally found John, John happily agreed to meet to plan further more, in the following weeks I undertook the roll of directing, shooting and editing the whole documentary together ready for the hand in date, It was great fun to make this documentary and I hope you all enjoy it. Nura Aabe - Autism Independence & the-wib
Nura Aabe's oldest son Zak was diagnosed with autism at 3 years of age. She had not heard of autism, a condition that has no meaning in the Somali language. In her culture, children with autism where hidden from the community. Nura faced many challenges she did not want to hide him so had no choice but to leave her family and community behind, so that she could help her son to lead an independent life. She moved to Bristol and learned everything she could and set up Autism Independence an organisation which works with families, schools and local authorities to help research and transform the lives of children living with autism. What Makes you happy FILM PRODUCER / EDITOR What Makes You Happy, is a short film exploring simply what makes people happy, it was inspired by similar YouTube Video's to where I wanted to created my own version, I did this film as test to what I was planning to do but prior to reviewing this footage, I manged to create a film that worked really well.
