THE INTRO TO THE DOCUMENTARY

Over the past week, I've been wanting to start the edit but I've also made a bunch of social accounts that need content soon!

And what a better way than to make a trailer/intro to the documentary, I've planned for the intro to be around 40 seconds where I wrote out brief commentary/voice over section, that has adapted and changed over time.

I first recorded this & played it back to see how it sounded, after developing the words and the style on how it is said, I've finally came down to the final recording.

Since I dont currently have all the clips for the intro what's I've decided to do is start taking similar clips online to create almost a outline of idea's and to get a feel of the intro & how it will work, and once I've filmed what i need, I can easily re-place these clips, it's almost like making a visual moving story board film.

I feel this will also speed up the process of what Im trying to create for the intro/trailer.

Prior to this I did some research into documentaries and even adverts for music idea's, a few are linked below.

Alot of idea's have also sparked off different speeds of adverts too.

A lot of these have been huge inspirations but Minimalism being one for the trailer that has really inspired me to do a project like this!

Inspiration for the trailer has came from Minimalism where I lot of the story boarded clips are from there, these are the types of shots I have in mind to complete the first trailer to the documentary.
