WHERE THE PROJECT STANDS IN APRIL
Over the half term & before hand I received a few people that agreed that they could commit to the project in some way or may be able to. Over the half term this however has changed where one contact has pulled out due to too many commitments and others have stopped replying, to this it's left me feeling a little worried because I have yet to finalised any filming dates and as you would know April is the month I want to complete at least 90% of the filming.
Dispute feeling a little worried just about timing & how long I need to allow myself to film & edit, I re-search for new people to interview however once again no replies or too many commitments, to this however I re-contact all the previous agreers on seeing if we could organise dates.
Upon this I did receive a email back from Jenny a artist and someone who organises Taunton Live alongside other projects. She suggested to meet up at a networking event at CICCI in Taunton. Where at first I was hessiatent because I haven't been to many networking events, but to be able to finally plan interview dates with her works perfectly, with the added bonus that she can introduce me to more creative people, that I can further work with hopefully for the documentary.
So with that said what is done?
THE WEBSITE - The website is at the stage of just needing content, and possible some further SEO.
THE YOUTUBE CHANNEL - Once again is just needing content.
CONTACTING - Contacting is at that mixed stage, enough people contacted but not enough people replying, meaning further contacting may be needed.
FILMING DATES - Filming dates is at slow so far, but with this networking event tomorrow night, it should allow me to at least score one interview with the possible chance of a few extra people coming aboard.
