This document will showcase projects within college & outside college that can help show my progression and skills building overtime.
STOURHEAD
THE AIM
Stourhead set the challenge of Year 1 students to focus upon the idea of ''Genius'' with their description of genius being ''The genius of the place is no one single person, regardless of how magnificent their life may have been''
Their purpose is to get across what Genius really means, to a lot of people it's someone who is smart, very knowledgeable but is genius really that or is it someone who has something they are good at that others arent, something that drives their passion and brings them out? Is that genius.
The goal in order to understand what Genius is and means to the workers of Stourhead, creating a short 2-5 minute video of everyone.
THE SHOOT
For us Year 2 we were there to overlook and help the Year 1's but we also got set mini task such as gathering extra pre-recorded footage or taking out interviews ourself, where we where split into groups, myself & Ben headed up to the house to take pre-recorded & interviews, however we couldn't get interviews until 1 due stourhead being open to public like usual and jobs that staff had to do, so we caught back up Hannah our main interviewee at 1 to get her version and view on what ''Genius'' is. To this though we gather key items within the house that would possibly fit with things that the staff would say, for example what stourhead genius is to someone within the house could be one of the important things that stands out and so we captured these alongside other shots for pre-recorded footage. We went around a few times, to get as much as we could when filming.
We next headed down to the gardens to see what everyone else was doing, and to experience and catch more pre-recorded footage down there, the struggle of carrying a tripod was the biggest pain but was useful if we came across any staff that would like a interview, dispute the struggle we pushed through and came across one group, that had captured some interviews and some pre-recorded footage, heading further round the lake of stourhead, we made our way back to the meeting area for lunch, after this we headed back up to the house for just after 1 interviewing Hannah and 2 other staff members, who all gave us great answers, to this we had Julian with us, where I used his camera to capture the interviews, and also to capture some slow motion shots of people look at the art and history of the place.

THE WELL BEING INDICATOR BADGE
THE AIM
After my final major last year, I kept working alongside ''Alan Bec'' the inventor of the well being indicator badge, to this I now his official - filmmaker & photographer for the company, where we both are working to build the company a success.
However during the process of this happening, the aim was produce a short video for Alan's TEDxTalk that took place in Nov of 2017, to this it was a success and also was placed on his site, I later produced a longer documentary of some of the clips used within that short video & was also applied and shared throughout social media and his business site.
To this Alan has now gathered a team of freelancers to help run his business and build it up to a successful rate, and with this me and Alan have talked about the possibility of interviewing each member to introduce why they personally love working for the WIB, on what I think is such a great idea for customers to get more involved with the people behind the brand.
