This section is research into YouTube shows that directly link to our certain topic & genre of TV show, researching into the codes & conventions they use to make their show successful, this will also have a more personal & directed questionnaire to our topic.

ALL STARS - THE GUARDIAN FILM SHOW REVIEW

This Youtube show not only relates in the topic being films but also has a similar style without a idea of layout, it also involves a few people creating conversation. Another thing that stood out for me was the sponsor they used at the start this is something we could use within our show or within the 5 minute pre-recorded footage, showing a more diverse audience to our TV show.

HONEST REACTIONS: JOHN WICK DIRECTORS REACT TO THE HONEST TRAILER

Honest reactions makes a really nice Youtube show, where they are simply honest to the directors of John wick & a discuss the film as a whole - there set is very bright with the constant reminder of the show being called ''honest trailers'', with a clear set between the interviewers and interviewee's, the way they discus things creates a really nice show.

DIRECTOR PAUL THOMAS ANDERSON TALKS 'INHERENT VICE'

I like the switch here between both the interviewer & interviewee and shots used the split that up, I like how they've planned each section

WHY BE A FILM DIRECTOR? - EDGAR WRIGHT -

This interview may feel a little less TV show aspect but it uses 2 angles, with a simple and clear background, on what sparks idea's & set design to how our TV show could look.

This once again is more interview but it has such a simple look to it, that it looks amazing and creates something that could easily be changed into a TV show format.

LIVE TV SHOW SET IDEA’S/RESEARCH

As part of my role is set design/idea's this section will focus upon that, showing examples & different way's that different sets are made & presented & more closely what will work for us.

As looking into the TV shows/Videos above you can see that a lot of idea's spark of the video's, creating different ways & things that could be applied to our show.

Taking research into set designs the first row of images I present in this document are more basic sets, just one whole background that follows a theme, to where the second row focuses more upon backdrops/boards where a series of colours/images are presented.

I’ve then taken a various images that could be incorporated onto a backdrop.
